Implementation Project Manager

Contract until End of June 2027 + Extension

Lead a major enterprise system go-live and play a pivotal role in delivering a successful implementation across a complex, multi-stream technology transformation.

We are partnering with a respected organisation undertaking a significant business and technology transformation and are seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to own the final stages of delivery, including business readiness, cutover planning, deployment and go-live execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has successfully led large-scale enterprise implementations through to production and can confidently bring together multiple project streams to achieve a seamless transition into operations. About the Role

Reporting into the project leadership team, you will take ownership of implementation planning and go-live delivery for a complex enterprise platform transformation. The solution has already progressed through design and development phases, and your focus will be ensuring all technical, operational and business readiness activities are aligned for a successful deployment.

You will work across multiple delivery streams, including system delivery, integrations, data migration, testing, change management, training and operational transition, ensuring dependencies are understood, risks are managed and stakeholders remain engaged throughout the implementation journey.

What You Will Be Doing

- Lead implementation, cutover and go-live planning across multiple project workstreams.
- Coordinate business readiness and operational readiness activities.
- Drive implementation schedules, dependencies, milestones and transition plans.
- Manage implementation risks, issues and critical dependencies, escalating where required.
- Coordinate deployment, transition and post-go-live support activities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, vendors and delivery partners.




- Support governance forums through reporting, status updates and implementation dashboards.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams to ensure delivery readiness.
- Partner with change and training teams to support adoption and user readiness.
- Ensure all delivery streams are aligned and prepared for production deployment.

What You Will Bring

- Proven experience leading complex implementation, deployment or go-live initiatives.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale enterprise technology projects into production.
- Solid implementation planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities across business and technical teams.
- Ability to drive accountability and maintain momentum across large project environments.
- Strong governance, reporting, risk and issue management capability.
- Experience supporting business readiness, operational transition and user adoption activities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive, business and technical stakeholders.
- A practical, outcomes-focused approach and the confidence to lead critical implementation activities through to completion.

Bonus Points For

- Experience implementing CRM, case management, ERP or other enterprise-wide platforms.
- Exposure to complex system integrations and data migration programs.
- Experience working with external vendors and implementation partners.
- Background in government, regulated or highly structured delivery environments.
- Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies.
- Experience overseeing cutover planning, hypercare and post-go-live stabilisation activities.
