We are seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our talented culinary team at the renowned WINDSOR HOTEL' in South Perth WA 6151. This is a full time position where you will be responsible for leading the pizza section and ensuring the highest quality and consistency of our delicious wood-fired pizzas.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the daily operations of the pizza section, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Developing and refining pizza recipes to enhance our menu offerings
- Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work workplace in the pizza section
- Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pizza Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven expertise in wood-fired pizza preparation, including the ability to create authentic, flavourful pizzas
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
- Creativity and innovative thinking to develop new pizza recipes and enhance the menu
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of efficiency during peak service periods
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests
