An understanding of the Medicare billing system An understanding of the Private Health Insurance billing system An understanding of Allied Health billing Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team workplace Booking and rescheduling patient appointments Greeting patients and answering telephone enquiries Billing, scanning and filing Ensuring practice policies and procedures are correctly followed At least 2 years' experience as a medical receptionist Strong knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology Strong organizational skills Enjoy working with a friendly focused team
