About the role Reporting to the Inventory Coordinator, this exciting opportunity will see you play an important role in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will help ensure the right stock is available at the right time by maintaining inventory levels and supporting efficient store functions. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be self-motivated, safety-focused, and committed to delivering strong productivity outcomes. This position is currently based at Racecourse Mill.

Duties include

Goods receipt materials and services.

Issue of stock materials to reservations and counter service.

Ensure correct volumes of stock items are maintained or available through ‘Just in Time deliveries.

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and SAP R3.

Experience in Warehouse and Stores;

Experience in inventory control;

Time management skills;

The ability to perform duties to a high safety standard, in a team environment and in a safe manner;

Current Forklift License (LF) and Drivers Licence. Tertiary Qualifications in Material Logistics are preferred but not essential.
