About the Role We are seeking a motivated team member to assist with day-to-day baking and production operations at Baker's Haven. Depending on your qualifications and experience, you may work independently as a qualified baker or support the baking team as a Baker's assistant.

Responsibilities may include:

Preparing, mixing and handling dough, fillings and other ingredients

Baking and preparing a range of bread, cakes and other bakery products

Operating baking equipment and machinery safely

Monitoring baking times, temperatures and product quality

Assisting with portioning, shaping, decorating and finishing baked goods

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the bakery

Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures

Working collaboratively with the team to meet production requirements

The specific responsibilities will depend on the applicant's experience, qualifications and level of training.

About You We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team

Comfortable working late at night and into the early morning

Able to work efficiently in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

Attentive to detail and committed to producing quality products

Willing to learn, follow instructions and take initiative

Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene

For the Baker position:

Relevant baking qualifications and/or commercial baking experience are expected.

For the Baker's Assistant position:

Previous bakery experience is beneficial but not essential. A willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in baking are important.
