Aligned Search is partnering with a well-established organisation looking for an experienced Payroll Lead to join their team in Liverpool. This is a hands-on payroll role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail while also leading a small offshore payroll team. About the role:

Lead and participate in end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls Manage and support a team of two Senior Payroll Officers based offshore Review and validate payroll outputs, reconciliations and payroll variances Act as the escalation point for complex payroll queries Work closely with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders Ensure compliance with Australian legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and taxation requirements Support process improvements, SOPs,



automation and system enhancements Assist with payroll reporting, audits and broader payroll initiatives About you:

Experience with

Chris21 / iChris is essential 3-5+ years' Australian payroll experience within a multi-site environment Robust end-to-end payroll processing experience Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and superannuation Previous experience supervising, mentoring or leading payroll staff Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines Confident stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
