Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements and accounting reports for clients, preparing and reviewing balance sheets and profit and loss statements, maintaining accurate and organised financial records, performing bank and account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies, maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records, processing payroll and maintaining related financial records, assisting with bookkeeping and accounting compliance activities, reviewing financial information for accuracy and completeness, assisting clients with accounting and financial queries, using accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and other relevant accounting systems, and maintaining client records and ensuring accounting work is completed accurately and within required timeframes.

About you
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
Relevant professional accounting experience
Experience preparing financial statements and accounting reports
Experience with balance sheets, profit and loss statements and account reconciliations
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Experience processing payroll
Experience using Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Competitive salary of AUD $80,000 – $85,000 + superannuation
