Job Description About the Role

As a

Truck Fabrications Welder , you'll play a key role in building and modifying truck chassis and components to meet customer requirements. Working closely with our technicians and auto electricians, you'll deliver high-quality fabrication work that meets safety, compliance and workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and modify truck chassis to engineering and customer specifications

Perform MIG welding, cutting, grinding and steel fabrication work





Install and fit truck components including tailgates, doors and ancillary equipment

Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements

Collaborate with workshop technicians and auto electricians

Maintain high standards of quality workmanship and safety compliance

Contribute to continuous improvement within the fabrication department

Desired Skills and Experience About You

Qualified Welder, Boilermaker, Fabricator or similar trade qualification

Proven experience in welding and fabrication environments

Experience with truck, trailer or heavy vehicle fabrication highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Sound problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Reliable, organised and able to manage competing priorities

The successful applicant will be required to complete a National Police Check.
