ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a skilled ROLLER SHUTTER INSTALLER to join our dedicated team. In this hands-on position, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing roller shutters, ensuring every job is completed safely and to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Measure doors and openings accurately for roller shutter installations

Install manual and electric roller shutters following manufacturer specifications

Prepare work areas to maintain a safe and professional installation environment

Remove existing shutters and upgrade or replace damaged systems

Diagnose and repair faults in shutters, motors, tracks, springs, and controls

Perform routine maintenance and servicing

Interpret measurements, plans, and installation instructions effectively

Use hand and power tools safely and correctly

Communicate professionally with customers, providing transparent guidance on operation

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite





Complete all required job documentation including paperwork, measurements, and reports

Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety procedures and Australian Standards

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Previous experience installing roller shutters, security doors, blinds, or windows

Strong practical and mechanical aptitude with an eye for precision

Competence with hand and power tools, including arc welding or mild steel work

Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge is a plus

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Effective communication and a customer-focused approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

Current driver's licence; forklift and scissor lift licences are advantageous

White card and relevant trade qualifications or licences are desirable
