Lotus Commercial is a commercial kitchen service business with 30 years of experience servicing the hospitality industry and corporate businesses. Services include kitchen filter exchange, canopy, exhaust cleaning, air conditioning filter maintenance, and various sanitization services.

Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to support our Finance Manager in a broad and hands-on role. If you are passionate about contributing to accurate financial reporting, leading AP processes, and improving systems, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role: Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day finance operations, including:

Assisting with financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal processing

Supporting month-end and year-end close

Overseeing Accounts Payable processes and supervising a small AP team

Verify vendor records to prevent fictitious payees and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing

Drive strong controls with accurate 3-way PO matching and prevent duplicate or erroneous payments.





Tracking fleet-related expenses (fuel, e-Tags, repairs) and managing cost allocations

Investigating aged payables and supporting compliance with internal controls

Contributing to continuous improvement in finance processes and systems

Supporting payroll processing and related reporting

Maintaining accurate records of finance and operating leases in compliance with accounting standards

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently

About You: We're looking for someone with:

Experience in a rapid-paced finance environment

Solid reconciliation and journal processing experience

Solid knowledge of accounting treatment for finance and operating leases

Confidence in managing AP processes and leading a small team

Excellent organisational and communication skills

High attention to detail and strong Excel skills

Self-motivation and the ability to work independently

Ability to follow up and coordinate with stakeholders effectively
