This is a busy front-desk role within a well-established podiatry clinic and would suit someone who is confident managing multiple tasks, enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing excellent patient service. The regular roster for this position is Thursday and Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Key responsibilities

Greeting patients and providing friendly, professional customer service

Answering phones and managing appointments

Processing incoming and outgoing correspondence

Responding to patient enquiries and following matters through as required

Patient billing, payments and cash handling

Processing referrals

Scanning and filing medical correspondence accurately

Liaising with patients, practitioners and other healthcare providers

General reception and administrative duties

Has a strong customer-service focus

Is reliable, organised and has a strong work ethic





Is confident using computers and learning practice-management systems

Can manage their time effectively in a busy setting

Can work independently and use initiative, while also being a team player

Is friendly, positive and professional

Is well presented

Understands the importance of patient confidentiality

Can build rapport with patients and practitioners

Is available and willing to work additional Monday–Wednesday shifts when required for sick and holiday cover

Previous experience in medical reception, front-desk administration and HICAPS would be highly regarded
