Technical Writer | ILS & SOP Documentation

Support a major government project as a Technical Writer, developing, reviewing and maintaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), integration documentation and broader project artefacts.

Location
Canberra, ACT

Contract Duration: November 2026 to June 2027

Security Clearance Requirement: NV2

Closing Date: Thursday 22nd October 2026

Essential Tasks

- Develop, review and maintain ILS documentation and associated support artefacts.
- Prepare and update SOPs, work instructions and operational documentation.
- Develop integration documentation and related technical artefacts.
- Support governance papers, reports, presentations and documentation across the project lifecycle.

Key Criteria

- Strong capability in developing transparent, accurate and fit-for-purpose technical documentation.
- Experience with ILS documentation, SOPs and operational documentation.




- Ability to gather and validate technical information with engineering, logistics and project stakeholders.
- Ability to produce documentation aligned with project, engineering, sustainment and quality requirements.
