Job Description

We're seeking an experienced SolidWorks Drafter to join a small, collaborative team supporting a defence program in Melbourne's south-east.

This is an immediate-start contract opportunity suited to a hands-on drafter who can hit the ground running, work closely with engineers and project stakeholders, and produce high-quality technical drawings in a defence environment.

The initial contract runs until January 2027, with strong potential for extension.

- Security Clearance: Current NV1 required

Key Responsibilities

- Produce detailed 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Interpret engineering specifications, sketches and design requirements.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and drawing revisions.




- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to resolve design issues and meet project deadlines.

Essential Requirements:

- Current Australian Government NV1 security clearance.
- Strong, demonstrated SolidWorks drafting experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- High attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Available to commence immediately.
- Willingness to work on-site five days per week in Melbourne's south-east.
