Your new company

Join a well-established global construction and fit-out business with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand. Known for delivering high-end commercial fit-out projects, the business works with a strong base of repeat clients across complex, design-led environments.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, an established delivery team and significant capability across pre-construction, they are now looking to add a Senior Project Manager to their Sydney team. The business has a excellent culture, good support at senior level and a genuine focus on developing and promoting people from within.

Your new role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is ready to make the step up into a Senior Project Manager position, or an existing SPM looking to join a larger, well-supported business.

You will take responsibility for delivering high-end commercial fit-out projects up to $30M, predominantly across Sydney CBD. Projects are client-facing and design-heavy, with exposure to Design & Construct and some medical environments.

Working alongside an experienced delivery team and a strong pre-construction function, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors and consultants
- Managing programmes, budgets, procurement and project delivery
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Working closely with the pre-construction and estimating teams




- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard
- Taking ownership of commercial outcomes and overall project performance

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you will need:

- Previous experience delivering high-value commercial fit-out projects
- Experience working for a head contractor / fit-out contractor
- Strong understanding of Design & Construct project delivery
- Proven experience managing projects, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence managing projects in the $10M-$30M range
- The ambition to step into a Senior Project Manager role and continue progressing your career

You don't necessarily need to already hold the Senior Project Manager title. They are particularly interested in experienced PMs who can demonstrate they are ready to take that next step.
