This is NOT a farmer role. This is a newly created, hunter-focused Business Development Manager position. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll own the full sales cycle
- from prospecting and pitching to closing and ongoing account growth. Your scoreboard is clear: 70% new business acquisition, 30% account management and growth. If you love the thrill of opening doors, winning logos, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships, this is for you. What You'll Be Doing:
- Hunting new business in Retail Packaging Solutions
- Converting qualified leads and self-generated opportunities into profitable, long-term accounts
- End-to-end sales management: from supplier liaison to proposal, pricing, delivery and after-sales
- Growing and nurturing a small portfolio of existing accounts to unlock further growth




- Developing Win:Win proposals and responding to tenders
- Managing your sales budget and energetic forecasting by customer / product
- Keeping a sharp eye on competitor activity, product trends and pricing across ANZ
- Representing JMP at industry events and client functions What You'll Bring:
- Proven track record as a Hunter / New Business Development Manager
- you love new business
- Experience in retail packaging, food packaging, or general packaging solutions is highly regarded
- Experience selling into major retail, FMCG, or manufacturing accounts is a big plus
- A natural relationship builder who listens first, then solves
- Commercial acumen
- you can build a proposal, manage a forecast, and report on your numbers
- Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office;SAPexperience preferred but not essential
