About the role
As Gaming Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading daily gaming operations and maintaining a robust floor presence
* Driving gaming revenue, performance and agreed KPIs
* Reviewing results and identifying opportunities to improve performance
* Supporting gaming promotions and customer engagement initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with Queensland gaming legislation and responsible gambling requirements




* Maintaining harm-minimisation and self-exclusion procedures
* Managing operational audits, cash controls and reporting
* Recruiting, training, coaching and developing gaming team members
* Working closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team
* Delivering a welcoming and responsible experience for every guest## About youYou’ll ideally bring:
* Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member
* Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs
* Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
* Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team
* Robust communication, organisation and customer-service skills
* A hands-on leadership style
* Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends
* Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates
* Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them
* A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it
