We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. If you have a passion for providing high-quality care and supporting the well-being of residents in a friendly and engaging environment, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference every day. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist residents with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming and maintaining personal hygiene, in accordance with their individual support plans.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment to promote safety and independence.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating where required, taking into account residents’ dietary needs and preferences.




- Perform household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishwashing and maintaining a safe and comfortable living setting.
- Accompany residents to appointments, shopping, recreational activities and community events to encourage social inclusion and independence.
- Provide companionship, emotional support and encouragement while respecting each residents' dignity, privacy, cultural background and personal choices.
- Assist residents to develop daily living skills, including cooking, household management and other activities that support greater independence.
- Follow individual support plans, observe changes in residents’ needs and report relevant concerns to supervisors in accordance with organisational procedures. Qualification:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Ageing), Certificate IV in Disability Support or relevant equivalent Other Skills and

Requirements:
- Preferably 2 years’ relevant experience in disability support, aged care, personal care or similar; experience with complex support needs desirable
- Experience in aged care or disability services preferred.
