Key responsibilities
Appearing in Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts Providing clear and timely advice to clients Preparing for and conducting bail applications, guilty pleas, and trials Liaising with clients, police prosecutors, and Counsel Conducting detailed legal research and preparing all necessary documentation About you A current Queensland Law Society practising certificate is preferable Experience in criminal law Exceptional advocacy, communication,



and negotiation skills A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, with a strong understanding of client service principles The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment A strong sense of ethics and professionalism You are either Duty Lawyer Accredited in Queensland, or eligible to become accredited A competitive salary based on your experience Opportunities for ongoing career development and mentoring A supportive and collegiate team culture
