As a Fire Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of fire protection systems for a range of commercial and residential projects. This full time position is based in our Crows Nest, NSW office and offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that contribute to the safety and well-being of our clients and their communities.

What you'll be doing

- Designing fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers, to meet relevant building codes and safety standards
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire protection systems into the overall building design
- Preparing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Conducting site inspections and coordinating with contractors to ensure the proper installation and commissioning of fire protection systems
- Staying up-to-date with the latest fire safety regulations,



technologies, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

- Degree in Building Services Engineering or a related field
- Experience in fire protection system design, preferably within the building services industry
- Thorough understanding of fire safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
- Proficiency in using design software, such as AutoCAD and Revit and fire protection design tools
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects concurrently
