Casual sales & brand ambassadors – Heaps Good Spirits

Love a chat? Love a good gin? Come work with us

We're Heaps Good Spirits, a small South Aussie distillery making gin, vodka, whisky and a whole bunch of other delicious things

With Christmas just around the corner, we're looking for a few fun, friendly people to join us at our shopping centre pop-ups, markets and events around Adelaide.

Got some spare hours? Love talking to people? This might be right up your alley

We've got shifts available seven days a week over the 8 weeks leading up to Christmas, with plenty of weekday and weekend opportunities.

Whether you're looking for a few extra dollars before Christmas, some work around school hours, or just something a bit different, we'd love to hear from you.

So, what's the gig?

Pretty simple, really

You'll be chatting to customers, offering free tastings of our spirits and helping people pick out a bottle (or three) to take home.

We've got two main types of shifts available:

Monday to Friday: Working at our pop-up stalls in shopping centres around Adelaide.

Weekends: A mix of shopping centre stalls, markets, events, tastings and potentially bottle shop tastings.

You can work weekdays, weekends or a bit of both. We're pretty flexible

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy talking to people. The kind of person who can have a laugh with a complete stranger, loves a good chat and isn't afraid to strike up a conversation.

We care much more about people feeling great when walking away from one of our tastings than we do about setting sales records.

You do need to be comfortable approaching people and getting their attention. But we're definitely not into pushy sales tactics,

Our shopping centre stalls can get pretty busy,

and sometimes you've got to call out to someone walking past, offer them a free tasting and get the conversation started.

We're not looking for someone to stand behind a table and wait for customers to come to them. We want friendly, outgoing people who are happy to get things happening

If you've worked in retail sales, promotions, brand ambassador roles or face-to-face fundraising before, fantastic You'll probably feel right at home.

But if you're just naturally pretty confident and reckon you'd be positive at slingin' spirits, we'd love to hear from you too.

No hard sell. No awkward scripts. Just good conversations, great spirits and a bit of confidence to get the ball rolling.

You'll need to be 18 or over and have a valid RSA (quick and east to get online if you don't have it yet - we can give you the details of where to get your RSA if you don't have it yet).

The best bit?

It's super flexible

We've got shifts across all seven days, whether you're after a few hours here and there or plenty more.

We're particularly keen to find people available Monday to Friday, but if weekends are more your thing, that's great too

Most of the work is over the 8 weeks leading up to Christmas, but we always have shifts available through the year if you're keen too.

Don't stress about writing some fancy cover letter telling us you're a passionate, results-driven team player

We're much more interested in the person than a perfectly polished resume.

Honestly, we're going to skim read your resume so don't bother spending hours on tidying it up. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Just tell us a little about yourself, what days you're available and why you reckon you'd enjoy the gig.

If we think you might be a good fit, we'll organise a quick chat and a paid trial shift so we can both see how it goes.

Easy
