Sun City Car is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Car Salesman to join our sales team at our Kedron, Queensland dealership. This is a full-time position where you'll be at the forefront of our customer interactions, driving sales revenue and building lasting relationships with clients. As a Car Salesman, you'll play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service that reflects the Sun City Car brand values and commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and engaging potential customers on the showroom floor and assisting them in finding the right vehicle to meet their needs

Conducting product demonstrations and test drives, highlighting vehicle features, specifications and benefits

Building rapport with customers and understanding their requirements to provide tailored recommendations

Preparing quotations and negotiating sales terms to close deals and achieve sales targets

Processing sales documentation and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly

Following up with leads and previous customers to generate repeat business and referrals

Maintaining knowledge of current vehicle inventory, pricing, promotions and financing options

Collaborating with the sales team and management to maximise dealership revenue and customer satisfaction

Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs

What we're looking for

Proven experience working in a sales role, ideally within the automotive industry or a related field





Robust communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers

Excellent negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets

Product knowledge of vehicles, including features, specifications, financing options and after-sales services

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Customer service excellence and a commitment to providing a positive purchasing experience

Valid Australian driver's licence and the ability to conduct test drives

Professional appearance and presentation befitting a customer-facing role

Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a genuine passion for helping customers

Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
