We currently have 5fully equipped workshops in Australia with OEM diagnostics scan tools and specialty tooling with in-house maintenance software forecasting and scheduling workloads supported by specialist planners and parts personnel.

We are currently looking fora permanent Diesel Mechanic based atour Murarrie facility in Brisbane. We have a national fleet of over 1,800 vehicles across our companies, Borg, Crossmuller, Polytec, Porta and Plantation Pine Products consisting ofCars, Rigid Trucks, Prime Moversand Trailers, Forklifts, Constructionand various Plant equipment, which we service and maintain either through our in-house workshops or contractual agreements.

The scope of work and duties may include:

Planning, overseeing and coordinating contract servicing and minor repairs to the company’s fleet of trucks, plant, and company motor vehicles.

Basic and major truck and trailer servicing to comply with NHVR accreditation.

Preventative maintenance

New vehicle pre-delivery and fit outs

Forklift service and repairs

Ancillary plant equipment servicing and repairs

Welding andfabrication work

Auto electrical diagnostics and repairs





Completion of all paperwork in a timely and professional manner

Ensuring adequate workshop stock supply of parts and consumables

Occasional attendance at side-of-road breakdown jobs

Ensuring work undertaken by relevant contractors is compliant with statutory and company requirements.

Drop off and pickup of trucks for contractual service arrangements

Komatsu, Liebherr, Tadano, Volvo, CAT, Terex and Bobcat

Vawdrey, Barker, Freighter, Drake and Tuff trailers

Genie and JLG scissor and boom lifts

The successful applicant will have:

A trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Capability to complete assigned tasks efficiently to ensure asset availability

Highly developed communication and customer service skills

Astrong work ethic and positive eye for detail

This is a fun, friendly fast-paced working environment and key to your success will rest with your ability to identify, report, repair and deliver on quality workmanship to ensure our fleet is maintained to the highest of standards.

As part of the selection process, applicants must undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing
