You will oversee day-to-day linehaul freight operations, liaise and support drivers, forklift operators and warehouse staff. The role requires strong practical coordinating and planning ability, with a hands‑on approach. Ability to provide clear direction, maintain safety and drive team performance.
Key responsibilities
Lead the safe loading and unloading of linehaul and pickup‑and‑delivery vehicles
Coordinate daily linehaul freight and movements
Support drivers, forklift operators and warehouse staff, leading by example and providing clear direction
Promote a strong safety first and compliance focused culture
Coordinate workloads and resources to meet operational and customer requirements
Resolve and escal operational issues promptly
Maintain a positive, respectful and high-performing team environment
Meet NHVR standards and maintain all relevant records
About you
Previous experience in linehaul is an advantage
Experience in transport, freight, logistics or warehouse operations is a plus
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strong focus on safety, compliance and customer service
Ability to manage competing priorities in a rapid‑paced environment
Knowledge of NHVR, CoR, ISO, HACCP and transport safety requirements
