The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. You will provide high-quality bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, assisting with payroll and compliance requirements, and providing professional support to our clients.
We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates. For those seeking a part-time arrangement, a minimum of four days per week is required.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Professional client interactions
Bank and income reconciliations
Processing of invoices, bills, and payments for clients
Payroll and superannuation management
General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation of BAS/IAS work papers
Provide clients with monthly management reports
Payroll Tax
Annual Workcover returns
Xero file creation and assisting clients in transitions from other systems
Process improvements
About You
We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable and organised, with a positive can-do attitude and a genuine interest in providing great service to clients.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Exposure to working with a range of businesses and industries
Experience with Practice Management systems (highly regarded)
Good understanding of bookkeeping processes and reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills,
with confidence interacting with clients
Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A willingness to learn and develop your bookkeeping skills
Stay up to date with Australian Tax laws and compliance requirements
