We're looking for a Business Development Manager to grow Your Way Living across Newcastle, the Hunter, the Central Coast and Sydney. We already have homes and participants in these regions and we're expanding, so this role is about building the referral relationships that make that growth happen - with support coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, plan managers and allied health teams. Experience in the NDIS or broader disability sector matters more to us than a traditional sales background. Support coordinators, intake and referral officers, plan managers, allied health professionals with a referral network, and people who have done partnerships, engagement or business development at another provider are all well suited to this - you already understand the participants, the plans and the people making referral decisions, and that is the hard part to teach. You can be based in Newcastle, the Central Coast or Sydney, and work remotely, hybrid or on-site.

Responsibilities

- Building and maintaining relationships with support coordinators, Local Area Coordinators,



plan managers and allied health professionals.
- Generating referrals for our SIL, ILO and community support services across Newcastle, the Hunter, the Central Coast and Sydney.
- Representing Your Way Living at industry events, expos and provider network meetings.
- Identifying opportunities to expand into new areas and service types.
- Working with our intake team to make sure enquiries are followed up quickly and well.
- Tracking referral activity and reporting on growth.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in the NDIS or broader disability sector - this is essential.
- A track record of building professional relationships that lead to referrals or placements.
- Robust understanding of NDIS plans, funding categories and how participants are referred.
- Valid Australian driver's licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- The right to work in Australia.
