Senior Analyst Regulatory Reporting

This is an opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys analysing financial information, solving complex problems and working in a dynamic environment where accuracy, collaboration and stakeholder engagement are critical. You will contribute to the delivery of key regulatory reporting outcomes while helping drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and controls.

In this role, you will:

- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting to APRA and other regulatory bodies.
- Analyse balance sheet, profit and loss, interest rate and transfer pricing movements across products, sectors and customer segments.
- Investigate material movements and provide insightful analysis to support reporting outcomes.
- Respond to information requests and reporting enquiries from APRA, the RBA and other regulatory agencies.
- Support the implementation of regulatory, system and product changes that impact reporting requirements.
- Maintain robust documentation, reporting procedures and governance standards.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Product and external audit partners.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement, productivity and delivery excellence.

You will play a key role in ensuring the Group meets its regulatory obligations while delivering quality analysis that helps stakeholders understand financial performance and reporting outcomes.

We are looking for finance professionals with strong accounting foundations who thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working to tight deadlines. Experience within banking, financial services, audit or financial reporting will be highly regarded.

- CA, CPA or ACCA qualification, or working towards completion.
- Experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, management reporting, regulatory reporting or external audit.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, journals, debits and credits, and financial statements.
- Ability to interpret and analyse profit and loss and balance sheet movements.
- Exposure to banking or financial services products and operating environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
