About the Role

We're looking for an experienced In-Home Sales Consultant who can hit the ground running.

This is not an entry-level role. You'll be expected to confidently measure, quote, and close sales across a full range of window furnishings and external shading systems, while managing your jobs through to installation.

You'll work autonomously, take ownership of your results, and play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and service.

What You'll Be Doing

Conducting in-home consultations across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula

Measuring, quoting, and selling blinds, shutters, awnings, and outdoor shading systems

Providing tailored, practical solutions based on client needs and budget

Following up quotes and maintaining a strong conversion rate (target 65%)

Managing your own schedule, pipeline, and sales activity

Taking full ownership of jobs from sale through to installation





Ensuring all measurements, specifications, and job details are accurate and well documented

Working closely with installers to ensure smooth delivery and minimal issues

Resolving any variations or issues quickly and professionally

Identifying and generating additional sales opportunities beyond company leads

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2+ years' experience in window furnishings, blinds, shutters, or a similar industry

Proven ability to measure, quote, and close sales confidently

Specific experience in in-home sales is essential for this role

Strong attention to detail — accuracy is critical in a custom product environment

A self-starter who can work autonomously and manage their own workload

Someone who takes ownership and accountability for their jobs

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Professional presentation and strong customer focus

Ability to balance field work with admin and documentation

Current Victorian Driver's Licence
