Control Bionics is a neurotechnology company developing non-invasive technology that captures and interprets neuromuscular signals, with applications across rehabilitation, healthcare and elite sport. Our NeuroStrip platform is a wearable sensor that turns muscle activity into transparent, objective data. Rehabilitation clinicians and elite sporting teams use NeuroStrip to assess muscle activity, providing objective insights to support rehabilitation, training and performance.
As our Australian NeuroStrip business grows, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Operations Coordinator to manage the operational side of our commercial activity. You'll manage CRM records, equipment and trial logistics, customer documentation and internal processes, making sure the work behind every customer relationship is accurate, well organised and delivered on time.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you'll work closely with our clinical, finance and customer support teams. You'll provide operational and administrative support across both commercial and clinical activity: maintaining complete and current commercial records, coordinating trials and onboarding, and ensuring every agreed next step is resourced and followed through. This is not a sales role and carries no sales targets. It suits someone who takes ownership, works independently and takes pride in running a well‑organised commercial operation.
Key responsibilities
Manage day-to-day CRM updates based on information from the team
Maintain accurate records of customer trials, onboarding, activities and follow‑up actions,
with supporting documentation kept in order
Identify missing or inconsistent information and resolve it with the relevant team member
Prepare regular pipeline, trial and activity reports for the Head of Sales
Maintain the register of NeuroStrip equipment, including units available, allocated and out on trial
Coordinate dispatch, returns and consumables so every trial and onboarding session is fully prepared
Anticipate stock requirements and keep Finance informed of equipment movements
Prepare quotes, agreements and customer documentation, and manage them through to signature and purchase order
Coordinate customer trials, demonstrations and onboarding sessions with customers and our clinical team
Identify inefficiencies, introduce practical structure and refine commercial processes
About you
Experience in a sales coordination, sales support, commercial or operations coordination role
Strong, hands‑on CRM experience as a daily user
A proven ability to work independently, take initiative and manage competing priorities
Highly organised and detail‑oriented, with a proactive approach to following up with customers and internal teams
Commercially minded, with a track record of taking ownership of processes and improving them
Experience in medical devices or healthcare technology would be highly regarded
Location and how to apply
This is a full‑time, office‑based position at our Cremorne office in Melbourne, involving hands‑on equipment coordination and close collaboration with our commercial and clinical teams.
