Redcape Hospitality has two full-time leadership opportunities across Newcastle and the Hunter, and we’re looking for experienced Venue Managers and Licensees.

With six venues joining our group and investment planned to refresh and improve pubs, there’s plenty ahead. These are established locals with their own personalities, teams and communities. You’ll help guide what comes next, building on what people already love about their pub.

What you’ll do

- Develop your leadership team with explicit expectations, coaching and honest conversations
- Lead from the floor,



setting service standards and backing your team
- Own revenue, labour, costs and venue performance—and act on the results
- Guide your team through change and venue improvements with your Area Manager
- Build relationships with regulars and stay connected to your local community
- Uphold responsible service, gaming compliance, safety and presentation standards

What you’ll bring

- Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Licensee, accountable for a whole venue and its results
- Strong operational knowledge across food, beverage and gaming
- Commercial judgement and a track record of improving performance
- The ability to develop leaders, build strong teams and address issues early
- Confidence to contribute ideas and a willingness to learn from others
- Relevant NSW qualifications and competencies for managing a licensed gaming venue
