Our team in Morningsideare seeking an enthusiastic individual who is well organised, with great attention to detail to take on this full-time role.
Requirements of the role include:
- Leading, coaching and supporting the warehouse team in line with operational procedures.
- Delegating workloads and helping ensure daily priorities are achieved.
- Using initiative and problem-solving skills to manage the challenges of a busy warehouse.
- Monitoring workflow and helping to keep the team operating efficiently.
- All aspects of general warehouse duties; primarily electric cable measuring and cutting.
- Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching goods.
- Manage the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Regular cyclic counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Desired skills and professional experience include:
- Strong warehouse experience and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure and in a fast-paced workplace.
- A positive attitude and can work well both autonomously and within a team.
- Demonstrates a safe work ethic and prioritise a safe work environment.
- Organised and ready to learn, with a keen eye for detail.
- Certain level of physical fitness required due to the nature of the role.
