Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) - Brisbane Airport

We are currently seeking CASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with experience on the B737NG and A320 aircraft types. Additional type ratings on the A330, A350, B787 and B737 MAX will be highly regarded. For the right candidate, opportunities for further training and type-rating development may be available.

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a Casual Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the growing team in Brisbane.

The position is to supportlong termcontracts Menzies AviationEngineering has with the international airlinesand airfreight operators in Brisbane. You will be part of a team of engineers carrying out line maintenance, defect rectification and AOG repairs. We are looking for a keen, dynamic individual with the right attitude who wants to be part of a small but growing flexible friendly team. We offer a competitive remuneration package along with a flexible roster.

To be eligible for this position you must:

Hold CASA B1/CAANZ License

Hold B737NG and A320

Have exercised license privileges within the last 24 months

Be able to obtain an ASIC and ADA

Eligible to work/live in Australia

What we need from you

Must live or be willing to relocate to Brisbane

Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster (shift work)

Professional, approachable and warm in style with a strong attention to detail





The ability to work at pace and meet critical deadlines

Previous experience in the same or similar role for a minimum of 5 years within the aviation industry

Effectively and efficiently work autonomously

You will be extremely flexible and happy to get down into the detail and be operational

Strong ability to problem solves and deliver solution-based outcomes

Can anticipate needs, be agile and flexible

Effective and efficient time management skills

Strong written & verbal communicationskills, with a focus on detail

Proficient ability to utilise the Microsoft Office suite
