Kummara has continued to grow in the scale and diversity of its services, funding arrangements and organisational responsibilities. As this complexity has increased, so too has the need for strong financial systems, controls and timely information to support effective management.
The Finance Controller is a newly established role designed to strengthen this capability.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Controller is responsible for the stewardship of Kummara's financial resources and the effective management of the organisation's finance function. The focus is practical and hands-on: ensuring accurate financial reporting, sound controls, effective budgeting and forecasting, funding compliance and reliable financial information across Kummara's programs and services.
The Finance Controller will work closely with managers to ensure they understand the financial performance of their programs and have the information they need to manage resources effectively. The role will also support the CEO with accurate and timely organisational financial reporting and analysis.
