The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Information Technology (IT) Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the hotel's computer systems and technology infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and solution-focused IT professional looking to build their career while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Provide support for the hotel's computer systems, hardware, software, and network operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT-related issues, including application support, hardware faults, and peripheral devices.

Assist in maintaining Microsoft Windows operating systems, Server, networking, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Provide technical support to hotel team members across all departments.

Assist with the implementation and support of hotel technology systems.

Prepare reports and maintain accurate IT records and documentation.

Participate in IT-related projects as directed by the Information Systems Manager.





Provide out-of-hours phone support when required.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, guest, and business information.

Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.

Previous experience supporting PC hardware and software.

Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Server, and Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook and others.

Ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT-related issues independently.

Willingness and flexibility to learn new systems and software applications.

Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.

Professional presentation and commitment to customer service.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment will be highly regarded.
