The Role
We are currently seeking a House & Land Assessment Coordinator to coordinate and document planning requirements and dwelling suitability assessments associated with land developments delivered or accepted by the business.

You will:

Perform assessment of building requirements on land parcels and provide detailed analysis of development sites, planning requirements, risks and impacts associated with dwelling placement and construction.

Conduct site assessments and digital search assessments to ensure the built form aligns with Ausbuild housing products and relevant planning authority requirements.

Assist with the coordination of allotment services, referral agency notifications and local authority planning information for developments under assessment.

Provide advice and support to consultant teams to maximise the use and placement of Ausbuild housing products across developments.

Research subject and neighbouring developments and document house siting requirements, risks, impediments and subdivision approval conditions.

Create and maintain accurate project and contractual documentation to ensure information synergy and clear communication of building requirements.

Provide project status updates, forecasting and workload management across current and pending projects.

Continuously work to improve processes, procedures, efficiency and cost savings while maintaining superior quality communication materials.

Assist with planning submissions, industry engagement and relationships with Queensland housing and land development associations.

The Person

Knowledge of the National Construction Code, QLD Development Code and Queensland Planning Legislation





Understanding of QLD planning schemes and residential controls (highly recommended)

A minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast-past administration role, within residential construction or private certification office

Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
