World of Tiles is a busy tile showroom in Castle Hill with a small, close team. We supply builders, tradies and homeowners across Sydney, and the lead-up to Christmas is our busiest time of year.
We need an extra pair of hands in the showroom and office, 2 to 3 days a week including Saturdays, from now until Saturday 19 December. It's an entry-level role, so no tile or sales experience is needed. We'll train you from day one.
More than anything we want the right attitude: positive, reliable, keen to learn and happy to be coached.
For the right person, there's the opportunity of ongoing employment in the new year.
What you'll be doing
In the showroom
Greeting customers and helping them find their way around the range
Keeping displays and sample boards clean, stocked and well presented
Getting samples ready and helping customers with collections
Supporting the sales team when it's busy
In the office
Answering phones and emails
Entering quotes and invoices
Helping with supplier orders and keeping track of deliveries
Keeping customers updated on their orders
Keeping files and paperwork in order
About you
Positive, friendly and reliable
Coachable. You listen, take feedback on board and keep improving
Organised, with an eye for detail
Comfortable using a computer. MYOB experience is a bonus, but we'll train you
Polite and clear on the phone and by email
Happy to get hands-on in the showroom (some lifting of samples and boxes)
Available to start straight away, work Saturdays, and stay through to Saturday 19 December

Full training from a team with 20+ years in the tile industry
