About the role Our client is a world leading bottler and distributor of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages in Australia. Having National presence across 5 major States with multiple facilities including manufacturing and logistics; we are looking for highly skilled Security Officers with experience in gatehouse logistics / data entry to manage access into their facilities while observing and reporting on all Security, Transport and Property related matters.

Security team at these locations plays an important role in the logistical management, safety and security of the site. As the first point of contact visitors and staff have when entering the facility, security officers on this location need to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Full time Day Shift -6AM-6PM

Location: Kewdale, WA.

Key Tasks

Provide a security service in line with the site SOP’s and client's requirements in order to protect the client’s employees, property and other assets.

Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Site patrols, Access Control and responding to incidents around the site

Greeting visitors and employees, issuing keys/cards to authorized contractors and monitoring their activities for safety and compliance.

Protection of people and property

Report writing, Microsoft Application, advance use of Excel, word and Outlook.

Monitor and use CCTV application, Emergency Management and Fire Systems.

About 90% of the role is data entry (computer proficiency is essential)

Must have a valid VIC Security License

Current First Aid & CPR

Valid Driver's License & Car

Excellent communication skills, punctual and reliable

Be able to work independently, self -aware, motivated, and able to work as part of the team

Be proactive, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality

Previous gatehouse experience is highly desirable but not compulsory
