Brisbane

At doris Talent, we're excited to be exclusively partnering with a brilliant, purpose-led, not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to CEO.

This is an organisation doing genuinely important work, advocating for positive change, supporting diverse communities and working closely with government, industry leaders and key stakeholders across Australia. It's a relatively small team, but one with a significant national profile, growing influence and a CEO who is incredibly passionate about the work they do.

And they're looking for someone pretty special to join them.

This isn't your typical EA opportunity. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being a CEO's right hand. Someone who thinks ahead, brings structure to a busy day, knows what needs attention and takes real pride in making their executive's life easier. Someone who can confidently say, "Leave it with me."

The role: Working closely with the CEO, you'll take ownership of their executive support, helping them navigate a busy schedule, competing priorities and relationships with some of the country's most senior stakeholders. You'll be trusted to make decisions, anticipate needs and ensure the CEO is always prepared, organised and able to focus on what matters most.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a complex and ever-changing diary, anticipating clashes and planning well ahead.

Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, confidently managing competing priorities and requests.

Preparing meeting agendas, briefing papers, background information and relevant documentation.

Liaising with senior stakeholders, including government representatives, ministers' offices, board members and external partners.

Managing executive correspondence,

drafting communications and ensuring important matters are followed through.

Coordinating meetings, travel arrangements and occasional external events.

Identifying potential issues before they arise and proactively finding solutions.

Building a trusted, team-oriented working relationship with the CEO and wider team.
