We have multiple temporary and contract opportunities available with some of Australia’s most highly regarded national and global law firms. These positions will see you supporting partners and lawyers at the top of their field while working within professional, high-performing teams in Melbourne’s CBD.
Working Holiday Visa holders with the required legal support experience are encouraged to apply.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 2+ years’ Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary experience
Previous legal billing experience is essential
Availability to work
full-time hours, Monday to Friday
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confidence working within busy, quick-paced legal environments
Experience with diary management, document preparation and file management
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Your day-to-day will include:
Diary and inbox management
Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
Managing files and matter administration
Coordinating meetings and appointments
Assisting with end-of-month billing
Preparing briefs and court documents where required
Providing general administrative and secretarial support to lawyers and Partners
