What you’ll be doing

Welcome patients, families and visitors as their first point of contact

Respond to calls, emails and patient enquiries with care, discretion and professionalism

Coordinate patient bookings, admission paperwork and day‑to‑day patient flow

Complete health fund checks and support billing, receipting, banking and reconciliation tasks

Maintain accurate patient records in FYDO with strong attention to detail

Deliver a high standard of service so patients feel informed, supported and cared for

What you’ll bring You’re calm, compassionate and highly organised, with a genuine commitment to creating a positive patient experience. You communicate clearly and promptly, and understand the importance of accuracy, discretion and outstanding service in a healthcare setting. Ideally, you’ll bring:

Experience in health administration, ideally in a day hospital, specialist practice or similar healthcare environment

Knowledge of medical terminology, private health funds, medical billing and receipting

A warm, professional telephone manner and the ability to support patients with sensitivity and clarity

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; FYDO experience will be highly regarded

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy setting

Confidence working independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
