Compliance Co. Group
Melbourne
Compliance Co. keeps rental properties safe and compliant across Melbourne. We handle smoke alarm, electrical, gas and rental minimum standards checks for real estate agencies and property managers who need the job done right the first time.
We’ve grown strongly month on month and recently rebranded from Smoke Alarm Safety to Compliance Co. The next stage of growth needs someone to own the day-to-day so the owner can focus on building the business and its key relationships. That’s where you come in.
The role
This isn’t a coordinator role with a fancy title. You’ll run operations, plain and simple. You’ll lead a team and make sure every job is booked, attended, reported on and invoiced properly.
What you’ll own:
- Scheduling and dispatching technicians across Melbourne
- Leading the team day to day, including performance, conduct, standards and support
- Quoting, with fast and accurate turnaround
- Managing agency and client relationships, including disputes and escalations
- Quality control so reports are accurate before they go out the door
- Fleet and equipment management
- Recruiting and onboarding new technicians
- Tracking KPIs and reporting to the owner
- Building and tightening our processes and systems
- Supporting expansion into new regions
What success looks like
Twelve months from now,
the owner is fully out of day-to-day operations because you’re running them. The business is running smoothly, the team is performing, clients are happy, and the owner is spending his time on growth.
About you
We care more about how you work than where you’ve worked. You’ll need to be:
- Seriously organised, able to juggle a full schedule, a team and incoming client requests without dropping the ball
- Detail-driven, since in compliance one wrong tick on a report matters
- Calm and explicit under pressure, whether you’re handling a frustrated property manager or a tech running late
- Comfortable leading people and having the hard conversations when needed
- Someone who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told
Nice to have, not essential:
- Experience in field service, trades, property management or compliance
- Experience with job management software and Xero
What’s in it for you
- $90k - $110k + super, depending on experience
- Laptop provided
- Real autonomy, because this role sits at the centre of the business
- Working directly with the owner, with no layers of management
- The chance to shape a fresh brand and a business on a strong growth curve
The details
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
- Based in our South Melbourne office (in-office role)
