Our Employee Value Proposition is "Being a part of Eastern Health means belonging to a welcoming team of healthcare experts".

This statement aligns with our promise to our communities, patients, consumers and staff that we will be HEALTHIER TOGETHER. Bolder than a vision for the future, our promise calls us to action. We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.

About the Role Eastern Health is recruiting Registered Nurses to the RN Transition to Specialty Practice Program.

This program is progressive, responsive, and innovative, incorporating both theoretical elements in addition to practical experience with allocated study days, learning packages and clinical assessments.

During the course,

participants will be supported by experts within the clinical facility and the clinical education staff of the Learning and Teaching Directorate. We support and facilitate the development of a well prepared, high quality, safe nursing and midwifery workforce committed to improving health outcomes.

Our Learning and Teaching team and clinical staff provide a supportive environment that encourages the development of clinical skills, reflective practice and a sense of professional identity and accountability.

The program provides a career pathway for those Registered Nurses seeking to work in the mental health speciality environment whilst enhancing their critical thinking, theoretical knowledge and clinical skills and is a great stepping stone to Post Graduate studies.
