Payroll & Service Administration Assistant Matterhorn Refrigeration is looking for a Payroll & Service Administration Assistant to join our team of around 50 staff. This is a diverse role that provides support to our existing Payroll Officer while also assisting our Service Manager and Service Team with their day-to-day administration. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, is organised and reliable, and is happy to get involved across different areas of the business.
Key responsibilities Payroll Support
Assist our Payroll Officer with payroll processing and administration
Provide support with payroll-related queries and documentation
Assist with maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
Assist with timesheets and payroll data as required
Provide general administrative support to the Payroll Officer
Service Administration
Provide administrative support to the Service Manager and Service Team
Assist with the day-to-day administration of the service department
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with enquiries
Assist with communication between customers, technicians and the Service Team
Enter and maintain service-related information and records into relevant programs
Assist with scheduling and paperwork
Assist with purchase order reconciliation
Assist with debt collection and following up outstanding accounts
About you
Experienced in administration and has previous payroll experience
Accurate and detail-oriented, particularly when dealing with payroll
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Confident communicating with customers and staff
Comfortable answering the phone and dealing with enquiries
Familiar with purchase orders, accounts and debt collection
Proactive and willing to learn
Reliable and able to work as part of a team
Comfortable working in a small business environment where everyone helps out

You’ll work alongside an experienced Payroll Officer, providing valuable support to the payroll function, while also playing an important role in supporting our busy Service Team and Service Manager.
