Are you a skilled carpenter who takes real pride in precision, detail and doing things properly?
At HONE, we build high-performance architectural homes to Passive House standards. This isn’t volume work, it’s considered, technical construction where quality matters and shortcuts don’t exist.
We’re looking for an experienced architectural carpenter who wants to step into a team that genuinely cares about craft, performance and continuous improvement.
About HONE HONE is a Melbourne-based, family-owned construction company specialising in architectural Passive House homes. We build a small number of projects each year, allowing us to maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Our projects are design-led and technically rigorous, requiring careful planning, precision and consistently high-quality execution.
The Role You’ll play a key role on-site delivering high-quality architectural homes, working closely with our site teams to ensure every detail is executed to a high standard.

Build in an environment where quality and considered delivery are prioritised over shortcuts
Supportive leadership and strong site culture
Varied and technically interesting work
Weekly pay

Wants to improve their craft and work on better projects
Takes ownership and responsibility on-site
This won’t suit someone looking for:
Volume building or repetitive work
