We are looking for a Senior Java Integration Engineer with strong expertise in building distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing Java-based microservices and implementing complex business workflows using

Temporal

or similar workflow orchestration platforms such as

Camunda, Netflix Conductor, Zeebe, Orkes Conductor, Apache Airflow, or AWS Step Functions . Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Java-based integration solutions and microservices. Build and maintain workflow-driven applications using Temporal or equivalent orchestration platforms. Develop event-driven integrations using Kafka, messaging systems, and APIs. Design resilient long-running business processes with retry, compensation, timeout, and fault-tolerance patterns. Integrate internal and external systems through REST APIs, messaging platforms, and workflow engines. Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to define integration and orchestration strategies. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance. Required Skills

10+ years of hands-on Java development experience.



Spring Boot RESTful APIs Distributed Systems Design Experience with

Temporal

OR similar workflow/orchestration tools:Camunda Netflix Conductor / Orkes Conductor AWS Step Functions MuleSoft Orchestration Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing and messaging:Apache Kafka IBM MQ ActiveMQ Experience implementing:Saga Patterns Long Running Transactions Workflow Automation State Management Retry & Compensation Logic Experience with AWS. Docker and Kubernetes. CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Nice to Have

Banking, Payments, Financial Services, or Insurance domain experience. Experience with API Gateway platforms and integration frameworks. Exposure to Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Boomi, or WebMethods. Understanding of real-time transaction processing systems and high-volume distributed applications. Key Attributes
