Harrison Motoring Group, a family-owned automotive business with a proud 50-year history in Melbourne's Western Suburbs, is seeking a passionate and skilled entry-level Digital Marketing/Social Media Coordinator to join our award-winning team. This role offers the opportunity to manage digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms, create engaging content, and drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and schedule content across various social media platforms
Create engaging visual and written content aligned with brand guidelines, including content in reel format
Develop and execute EDM (Email Direct Marketing) campaigns
Assist with general marketing activities as directed by the Marketing Manager
Support the setup and coordination of shopping centre activations
Monitor social media trends and provide insights to optimize campaigns
Collaborate with the marketing team to drive brand awareness and customer engagement
Track and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management
Proficiency in content creation, including graphic design and copywriting
Experience with EDM tools and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Loomly)
Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies is a plus
Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage but not essential
