Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is looking for a passionate and experienced

Centre Chef

to join our brand-current Newbridge centre in Wallan, opening soon

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our foundation team and help provide nutritious, delicious meals that support children's health and wellbeing.

The position starts at 25 hours per week, with the opportunity for hours to increase as centre occupancy grows.

Supportive team and welcoming workplace culture The Opportunity As our Centre Chef, you will:

Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children.

Plan seasonal menus that meet childcare nutrition guidelines.

Manage food ordering,



stock control and kitchen budgets.

Cater for dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences.

Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen documentation.

Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership.

About You

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (HLTSS00061) and Safe Food Handling Certificate.

Previous childcare experience is preferred.

Knowledge of children's nutritional needs and dietary requirements.

Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

Current Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
