People8 has partnered with a leading Australian mechanical services contractor to recruit an experienced BIM Manager for their Melbourne team. This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM professional to lead a team, take ownership of BIM operations, and develop and improve BIM processes across major commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor BIM modellers, coordinators and drafting teams.
• Develop and improve BIM standards, workflows and processes.
• Oversee mechanical/HVAC BIM modelling and coordination.
• Manage Revit MEP models, Navisworks clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, builders and site teams.
• Oversee mechanical shop drawings, ductwork layouts and fabrication documentation.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project quality standards and construction timelines. What We're Looking For
• 7+ years' experience in BIM, mechanical drafting or building services,



with leadership experience.
• Strong mechanical services/HVAC BIM experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Previous experience with a mechanical services contractor highly desirable.
• Experience developing BIM processes and managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical construction, ductwork and building services coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. What's on Offer?
