Join the supportive team at Woolgoolga & District Retirement Village (WDRV), where your work helps maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented setting for our aged care residents and independent living community. We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance / Grounds Person to support the upkeep of our beautiful coastal village. This is a practical, outdoors-focused role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys variety in their day. Key Responsibilities
General gardening, lawn mowing and outdoor maintenance Basic repairs and general property upkeep External cleaning and presentation of village grounds Supporting a safe and well-maintained environment for residents Liaising with contractors as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor Following WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices Respectful and professional interaction with residents and visitors Attending required training and team meetings About You
We’re looking for someone who is: Reliable,
practical and takes pride in high-quality work Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work in varying conditions Experienced in general maintenance, gardening, painting or similar hands-on roles A confident communicator with strong customer service skills Able to follow instructions and work safely under WHS guidelines Competent using basic computer systems for reporting or communication Willing to obtain a National Police Check (mandatory) Experience in aged care, facilities maintenance, accommodation services or similar environments will be highly regarded.
