DLA Piper's Litigation & Regulatory team is growing, and we're looking for a talented Senior Associate to join our Melbourne office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with John Fogarty, Partner, on complex regulatory investigations, enforcement proceedings and high-profile litigation. With a significant focus on acting for ASIC, you’ll work alongside leading practitioners across Australia and our global network. Main duties and responsibilities
• Advise clients on complex regulatory enforcement matters, investigations and commercial litigation
• Act for regulators in high-profile enforcement proceedings and investigations
• Manage key workstreams across Federal Court litigation, regulatory inquiries and contested proceedings
• Work directly with clients, counsel and regulators to develop and implement litigation strategies
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to exceptional service delivery
• Support the development of junior lawyers and contribute to a cooperative team culture
• Collaborate with litigation and regulatory specialists across Australia and internationally About You
• 5+ years' PQE gained in a leading disputes, litigation or regulatory practice
• Experience in regulatory investigations, enforcement matters, commercial litigation or competition and consumer law
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent drafting, communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Sound commercial judgement and the confidence to take ownership of complex matters

• An interest in mentoring and supporting the development of junior lawyers
