Role Description The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the venue, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction. This full-time, on-site role is based in Melbourne, VIC, and includes managing bookings, coordinating events, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. The Venue Manager will handle scheduling, inventory, and vendor relationships, as well as monitor budgets and financial performance. The role also involves resolving customer issues, optimizing venue utilization, and collaborating with ownership to implement initiatives that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue. Qualifications
• Strong Communication skills,



including explicit verbal and written interaction with guests, staff, and suppliers.
• Proven Customer Service experience, with the ability to manage guest expectations and deliver consistently positive experiences.
• Hands-on Venue Management capabilities, including staff supervision, operational oversight, and maintenance coordination.
• Event Management skills to plan, execute, and coordinate small and large group functions, from inquiries through post-event follow-up.
• Budgeting and basic financial management skills to track costs, manage budgets, and support profitable operations.
• Previous experience in hospitality, events, or a similar venue-based role is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by venue trading hours.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership skills with a collaborative approach to coaching and supporting team members.
• Working knowledge of reservation systems, point-of-sale platforms, and safety regulations relevant to venue operations.
